Agland Preservation Program

The Montour County Agricultural Land Preservation Program is steered by a Board of nine individuals from Montour County and its purpose is to preserve farm land for future generations.  Farm land is preserved by purchasing the development rights in perpetuity. Farms are chosen through a ranking process that is laid out in the program manual which can be seen here.
